Presidential supporters and commercials pushing the campaigns forward

(AP) -- The presidential faithful are out supporting their candidate, while the candidates themselves are furthering their position.

Singer James Taylor is performing Sunday in Royal Oak at President Barack Obama's Democratic Headquarters. Supporters are hoping to bring on new volunteers to help re-elect Mr. Obama.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is going to the air waves. He was the exclusive guest Sunday morning on NBC's Meet The Press. Mr. Romney also has new campaign ads hitting the air waves in Wisconsin. They blame the president for the federal deficit, now over $16 trillion.

Both candidates continue their campaign swings Sunday through key states.
