ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP -- The Michigan State Police of the Negaunee Post are investigating a case of arson that allegedly took place in Ishpeming Township.

Last week, sometime between late Sunday night and early Monday morning, a fire destroyed an outhouse at the Clark Creek Boat Launch located on Red Road.

During that same time, an Upper Peninsula Power Company informational sign was reported stolen as well.

The Dead River Campers Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
