MARQUETTE -- The fourth annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival is set for this Saturday, and organizers say there will be more Michigan craft beers than ever before.
Mattson Lower Harbor Park will be packed with more than 200 Michigan brewed beers on hand for sampling. The event is put on by the Michigan Brewers Guild. The festival will also feature live music and local food vendors.
"I think everybody should go down there and check it out just because there's so much to offer," said beer brewer Brian Richards. "Even if you're a person who thinks they don't like beer, there are a lot of different styles of beer to try, and there's probably a lot of different things that you haven't even heard of or seen that you might not even recognize as a beer that you might just fall in love with."
The cost for presale tickets is $30, which will get you 15 tokens to use for sampling beer. Tickets the day of the event will cost you $35. The guild reminds those who attend that this is an adult event, and you must be 21 to get in. Designated drivers are also encouraged.
