WAUSAUKEE, WIS. -- Fifty-five-year-old Richard Heyer of Crivitz made his initial appearance in Marinette County Court Wednesday for the murder of 51-year-old Ann Schueller of Wausaukee.

Heyer was discharged Wednesday morning from the hospital and brought to the Marinette County Jail where he made his court appearance through a video call.

The Crivitz man was referred to public defenders to seek a lawyer and will be back in court on September 17 at 10 a.m. for an initial appearance with council.

Heyer remains in jail, and a bond has been set for $750,000 cash. He is charged with first degree intentional homicide with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.
