MARQUETTE -- A Michigamme man has been arrested last Friday on charges of operating a meth lab.

Ishpeming police say 29-year-old Mathew David Querfeld was arrested last Friday for driving under the influence of drugs.

During a search of his vehicle, police say they found components of a meth lab and what they suspected to be a small amount of Methamphetamine. Police say the plate on the vehicle was stolen or forged.

Querfeld was arraigned on Tuesday on multiple drug charges and a forgery charge. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Marquette District Court on September 17.
