HOUGHTON -- Students at Michigan Technological University head back to class on Tuesday.

Dorms were quiet Sunday morning, not many kids out and about. But some students were still settling in before their big start. Returning students are excited to start courses focusing on their major. They hope it helps them figure out what career path they want to take.

"I have to figure out if I want to stay in bio medical, pretty much just explore my interest and figure out who I want to be basically," said sophomore Brent Myers.

The cost of attending college isn't getting any cheaper as some may be paying up to $30,000 this school year. The on campus vibe from students is all positive for the upcoming school year.
