HOUGHTON -- On Friday, the City Center in Houghton was for kids only. That's because it was the third annual Family Fun Day. Kids got a chance to enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, and games.
The Houghton Police Department also wanted to make sure parents got their kids finger printed.
"If a child gets lost or if the parents need them for anything, they keep them in the lock box," said Lt. Nick Roberts. "It's one of things you don't want to have to do or talk about, but it's good to have your kids' fingerprints in case you do need them in the future."
Kids and adults also got a chance to compete in a donut eating contest, and even McGruff the crime dog made an appearance.
