How about that full moon, aka the Blue Moon, Friday night? We were so lucky to have clear skies. I've seen many pictures submitted by viewers. Show us yours if you haven't sent it already. I've posted some of my own to my Facebook page. Check them out!
Like Friday night, there will be more clear skies Saturday. As high pressure sits overhead conditions should be sunny with light and variable winds. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
Friday night will be a little chilly with lows down into the low 50s and colder in the western interior into the 40s. Skies will be mostly clear and winds will be very light.
On Sunday, we'll see a slight warm up as the high moves away and winds take a more southerly turn. Skies will see more clouds, but there should be plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Sunday night's lows will be mild in the mid 50s to low 60s with that south wind. As a low pressure system approaches from the west late Sunday night, skies will become increasingly cloudy. Rain is possible overnight into Monday where things could get interesting.
Monday will likely see some rain and thunderstorms with a passing warm and cold front. It is possible that some storms could be severe, but that's not very likely at the moment. We have a cooler week in store after Monday with some intermittent chances for rain.
