KINGSFORD -- Woodland Elementary School in Kingsford had their open house Thursday afternoon.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for parents, staff, and students to make connections. During the open house, teachers met parents, policies were presented, curriculum and expectations discussed, and questions were answered.
"They come and meet their teacher and see their classroom and just get acquainted instead of coming in the first day and not knowing exactly where you're going," said parent Danyel Pipp.
Parents say they enjoyed the open house and the opportunity to meet the teachers before school begins.
Families were also allowed to tour the school and get a look at some of the renovations made over the summer.
