HOUGHTON -- After a mistrial last month, Gordon Lewis was back in Houghton County Circuit Court Wednesday.

The 20-year-old from Dollar Bay will be tried again for allegedly breaking into an ATM at Miner's State Bank in South Range. He was originally charged with safe breaking for a crime that occurred last October.

"With regard to the matter that has been tried, there has been a continued investigation since the end of the trial, and I anticipate an updated police report from Mr. Gemignani.  I'm not sure when that's going to come," said Michael Machine, Prosecuting Attorney.

In the meantime, Lewis will stand trial next month after officials say he allegedly broke into a locker at the Student Development Complex on the campus of Michigan Tech and stole clothing, keys, and a wallet.
