NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- Police arrested a 23-year-old Marquette man after he hit another man with his vehicle early Sunday morning.

At around 4 a.m., the 23-year-old man drove to a residence on Longyear Drive in Negaunee Township to speak with a 37-year-old man in reference to an argument the two had earlier that evening. After an argument at the residence, the 23-year-old went to leave but hit the other man with his vehicle, according to police.

The 23-year-old man then drove to the Negaunee State Police Post to report the incident. He was then arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

The 37-year-old man was taken to Marquette General Hospital to be treated for injuries to his left foot and leg.
