ESCANABA -- Saturday is the Bonifas Arts Center's beer and food pairing in Escanaba.
It's called 'Around the World With a Glass of Beer.' It starts Saturday at 6 p.m. Four countries will be represented: Germany, Belgium, the U.S., and the British Isles. Four chefs have also been enlisted to make creations to pair with these specialty beers.
The fundraising event is sponsored by Savmor IGA, who specially ordered these beers.
"All the proceeds go to support the arts center community like all the free tours we do. These fundraisers help support it, and also it's a lot of fun. People walk around, they mingle with their friends," said Beth Ann Fudala, director of special events.
Members of the Bay de Noc Brewers will be there to share their beer expertise.
