MARQUETTE -- South Beach in Marquette was closed Thursday evening because of another high E. coli reading.  Officials closed the beach around 7:50 p.m. Thursday.

According to city officials, the beach will be closed for most of the day Friday as tests will be administered.

This marks the fourth time this summer that a Marquette beach has been closed due to a high E. coli reading and the third time that South Beach has been closed.
