MANISTIQUE -- A 56-year-old Schoolcraft County man accused of stealing money from the Manistique Moose Lodge has been bound over to Schoolcraft County Circuit Court.

Raymond Eugene Hayford is charged with four counts of forgery and one count of embezzlement after being arrested in July.

Hayford is accused of embezzling more than $1,000, but less than $20,000 from the Moose Lodge. The embezzlement charge could result in ten years in prison.  The four counts of forgery are punishable by up to 14 years in prison.

Hayford is due back in court Wednesday.
