NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- The Tuesday afternoon lecture series wrapped up for the year at the Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee Township. Tuesday featured a behind the scenes look at the film Iron Spirits:  Life On the Michigan Iron Range.

Filmmaker John Major produced the film. Major also created the film Condition One that highlights his trip to Antarctica. The museum feels this is a fitting end to the series.

"We've covered a wide variety of topics this year in the lecture series," said Museum Historian Troy Henderson. "From camping in Cloverland with Henry Ford to Yooper dialect, so we've had a lot of interesting ones, so we kind of bring it home for the last one here."

The Tuesday lecture series starts in early July and runs through August. Museum officials are working to line up next year's speakers. Plans are underway to possibly expand the series.
