GOGEBIC CO. -- The Gogebic County Sheriff's Office has reported that the body of a missing elderly woman in Bessemer has been found.
The remains of Ethel Grzena-Peters, 79, were found in Watersmeet Township Monday night. Peters was last seen in Bessemer the evening of August 3. The Michigan State Police Crime Lab was called in to assist as the cause of death has not yet been determined and foul play has not been ruled out.
The investigation into Peters' disappearance was led by deputies from the Gogebic County Sheriff's Office and Michigan State Police.
