U.P. -- Governor Rick Snyder is visiting the Upper Peninsula this week, starting with Manistique. Snyder will tour Manistique Papers on Monday and then hold a public meeting at 453 S. Mackinac, Manistique at 12 p.m.
Then he'll make his way to Menominee for a town hall meeting at 2 p.m. at Wayne State University, McGregor Memorial Conference Center. Snyder will be in Iron Mountain on Tuesday speaking with local officials at 8 a.m. Central time at City Hall, 3937 10th St.
Governor Snyder will then tour the Oldenburg Group in Iron River at 2:45 p.m. Central time, 1520 W. Adams St. His trip wraps up with a town hall meeting in Ironwood at 5:30 p.m. Central time at the Gogebic Community College, Lindquist Student Center.
