MARQUETTE -- A Marquette man received his sentence on Friday regarding drug possession.

Nineteen-year-old Craig Cairati will serve 16 days in jail with credit for three days already served. Judge Thomas Solka stated that he would give Cairati a second chance to find employment and continue his education, based on an insignificant criminal record.

He pled guilty last month to possession of an analog drug. Cairati was arrested in May after allegedly breaking into a vehicle and stealing the prescription drug Xanax.
