ISHPEMING -- Three people were sent to the hospital after a three-car accident in Ishpeming.
The vehicles collided on US-41 near McDonald's around 5 p.m. on Friday. The female driver of a minivan was making a left turn from Country Lane onto US-41 when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was struck by two westbound vehicles. All three vehicles had only one occupant, and all three were taken to Bell Hospital with minor injuries.
Ishpeming fire and police responded to the scene, along with Michigan State Police and Bell EMS.
