ESCANABA -- This Saturday the 41st Waterfront Art Festival will be held in Escanaba's Ludington Park.

The festival offers a full day of activities, and over 70 artists will display a wide variety of art forms. It's free to attend, and it's the first year the Bonifas Arts Center is presenting the festival.

If you can't wait till Saturday, there's currently an exhibit at the Bonifas Arts Center, and it features the Michigan Watercolors Society show.

Every year competitors around the state enter the festival.

"So, I think, the general public will enjoy something here," said Education Director Pasqua Warstler. "I think if you're a local artist, come on in, because there's a huge variety or technique."

If you do decide to make it out to the Waterfront Art Festival it runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 4.
