MARQUETTE -- Work on demolishing Carey Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University continues.

Pitsch Construction from Grand Rapids has been working on the demolition.  The crew is down to the final elements of the building including the foundation and removal of the debris.  They are on schedule and plan to be finished by late this week.

The project costs an estimated $800,000.  The site will be restored to a grass field when completed.
