BARAGA CO. -- On Saturday campers at Baraga State Park decided to introduce a little Christmas cheer.

It was the 7th annual Christmas in July event. One of the highlights of the event is the bike parade with Santa Claus. Dozens of kids decorated their bikes with balloons and streamers to ride in the parade. It goes around the entire park and takes about 30 minutes.

This is traditionally the busiest weekend of the year at Baraga State Park.

"This is probably one of the most fun events, not just for our guests, but for the staff as well," said Kelly Somero, accounting assistant.

The day ended with a campsite decoration contest. Some campers spent days preparing their sites.
