IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Iron Mountain Northern Lights YMCA is offering a peewee summer day camp.

The camp is for children ages three to five and will be running from July 30 until August 17. Each week has a theme with activities centered on that specific theme.

Kids at camp will get to enjoy things like games, slip and slides, and arts and crafts.

“Week one being a splish splash adventure, then we go onto a super hero week, and we finally end with a safari week,” says camp counselor Sarah Zychowski. “It just changes it up a little bit and gives the kids something to look forward to everyday.”

Cost to members is $50 a week and $75 for non-members.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
