MARQUETTE -- The US-41 construction project is entering its next phase, and that means more delays for motorists.

US-41 will now be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction from the Carp River Bridge all the way to the intersection of US-41 and M-28 in Harvey. From the Michigan Welcome Center to the intersection, the road is being milled and paved.

Officials have said throughout the project to give yourself extra time when commuting on this stretch of road. The six million dollar project is expected to continue until October.
