MUNISING -- Community members in Munising came out to the Pictured Rocks Golf Club on Saturday to remember a good friend and family member.
It was the second annual Fuzzy Boyak Golf Outing for Fuzzy Boyak. He passed away four years ago. Around 38 teams of four participated, with prizes given out to lucky hole in one winners.
Fuzzy's daughter remembers her dad.
"My dad was very hometown proud. He loved the community--he was all about supporting the local business--and to see all the fellow business people, friends, family come out and enjoy this beautiful day means a lot," said Dana Boyak, Fuzzy's daughter.
The proceeds from the event will go to Alger Parks and Rec of Munising to build a community center.
