HANCOCK -- Saturday, over 500 runners will participate in the Canal Run in Hancock.
Joe Dancy ran the race in 1977, and this year he's doing something a little different. If he beats his old race time from 1977, Finlandia's hockey coach John McCabe will have to wear Dancy's old and sweaty running hat during the exhibition game on October 20.
If Dancy doesn't beat his original time, he will donate polo shirts to the entire hockey team.
The 10-mile race starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at McLain State Park.
