IRON MOUNTAIN -- Iron Mountain's North Little League All Stars are heading out to Kalamazoo for the state finals.
The 9- and 10-year-old boys won the district finals on July 16. They leave Thursday morning for Kalamazoo and will be there until July 26 to play for the state title.
"Hopefully make some difficult plays and keep our runs down a little, but in case there's a chance of a tie breaker, but I think this group's focused and they wanna go out there and win," said All Stars' Coach, Harvey Johnson.
The team went around Iron Mountain fundraising to cover costs of the trip. They want to thank everyone who contributed. If you are interested in helping the team, you can send donations to the address below.
