MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Regional History Center is continuing its history tours. The narrated tours take visitors through some of the historic sites in the city.

Volunteers from the museum dress up and portray figures from Marquette's past. Ripley's Rock, Presque Isle, and Picnic Rocks are just some of the stops on the tour.

"The bus tour just kind of gets us in touch with our past. It's got a rich history of things that maybe people don't know about and are kind of just interested in digging into a little history of the community, reconnecting with their past," said History Center volunteer, Robert Mercure.

Two more tours are scheduled, July 25 and August 1.

The cost is $12 and advanced purchase is recommended. Wednesday's tour was sold out. For more information on the history center, click here.
