MARINETTE COUNTY -- A large marijuana growing operation in Marinette County, Wisconsin, is being eradicated on Tuesday, while authorities search for two suspects in connection to the area.

Late Monday afternoon warrants were served at two locations, one in the town of Middle Inlet and the other in Athelstane. In Athelstane, two male suspects were taken into custody, and will remain at the Marinette County Jail pending formal charges by the U.S. Attorney General's Office.

Two other suspects fled the scene of the Middle Inlet location, and remain at large. Authorities do not believe the suspects are armed or dangerous.

Evidence collection and eradication of the grow areas continued on Tuesday.

Further details will be released at a later time.
