MICHIGAMME -- The Michigamme Moonshine Art Gallery is exhibiting art work from Madison, Wisconsin artist Jens Carstensen.

Many people made it out to the Echoes of the North exhibit on Sunday. With more than 50 pieces, the new exhibit showcases Carstensen's love for nature. In his artwork, he likes to bring out the spirit of great landscapes with his use of color.

"The scene has some sort of a soul, you know, and you got to cast that soul," said Carstensen. "There's a French painter that had said that a landscape is a state of mind."

There's still time for you to check out his artwork. The exhibit runs until August 11.
