MARQUETTE -- A Marquette man pled guilty in court Friday for possession of an analog drug.

In May, Craig Cairati, 19, was arrested in Marquette after breaking into a vehicle and stealing the prescription drug Xanax.

While in court Cairati admitted to stealing the drug.

For pleading guilty, the prosecutor dropped the charges related to breaking into the vehicle, and Cairati has also agreed to pay $500 in restitution to the victim.

Cairati will be back in court August 10th for sentencing.

The possession of an analog drug charge carries a two year prison sentence.
