MUNISING -- Two Munising residents are fighting cancer by sitting around.  It's the third annual Alger County Relay for Life, Roof Sit In.

Bonnie Syers and her husband are spending 24 hours on a roof platform at the Moose Lodge in Munising all to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  Last year they raised $1,000 and were hoping to raise more this year.

"Come visit, come donate, come say hi, honk whenever you go by better yet stop and chat and donate that would be great we would really appreciate it," said Syers.

By noon time Tuesday, donations reached  $200.  They're camped out until Wednesday morning before the parade.
