Ishpeming street reopened for public

ISHPEMING -- As of this week, the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Main Street in Ishpeming has been reopened, just in time for the holiday.

The intersection was closed in May because of the Partridge Creek Diversion Project running along Cleveland Avenue. Crews have been working to open the intersection in time for the Fourth of July parade. Although it's open, the intersection is a gravel surface and will remain that way through the 4th of July.

Businesses are still open in the area.
