LUCE COUNTY -- A Luce County man was held at knifepoint while his home was robbed of prescription drugs on Wednesday morning, according to Michigan State Police.

According to police, residents of a home on County Road 405 in Luce County said that several people broke into their home wearing dark clothing.  After robbing the occupants of their prescription drugs, the suspects fled the area, causing minor injury to the person being held by knifepoint.

Michigan State Troopers began investigating the home invasion and arrested three people they believe were involved in the robbery.  The suspects, 32-year-old Teresa Faye Kinney, 18-year-old Markus Allen Kinney, and 21-year-old Zachary Matthew Sturgeon, were arraigned in court on Thursday.

All three suspects are being charged with assault with intent to rob while armed, which is punishable by up to life in prison.  They also face charges of first degree home invasion, which could land them up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.

A fourth juvenile suspect was also apprehended and has been arraigned as an adult on the same charges.
