Pine Mountain steps to be dedicated

IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Northern Lights YMCA, in cooperation with the Kiwanis Ski Club, is inviting the public to the Pine Mountain Steps open house.

Since last fall, they sold all 500 steps at Pine Mountain's ski resort to pay for the reconstruction of the staircase. The steps are complete with all the plaques in place.

The official opening will be this Friday at noon on the top of the hill. Former NFL coach and current NFL Network analyst and Iron Mountain native, Steve Mariucci, will do the toast and opening ceremony.
