Teen hospitalized after ATV crash

HANCOCK -- A Hancock teenager remains hospitalized after an ATV accident Monday.

According to the Hancock City Police, this happened around 9:30 a.m. on Tomasi Drive.  A 14-year-old boy driving an ATV on Department of Natural Resources Trail Number 17, struck a frontend loader.

The teen was taken to Portage Health and later transferred to Marquette General Hospital for treatment.

His condition is not being released, and police report that he was wearing a helmet.
