Iron Mountain Police investigate possible gun incident

IRON MOUNTAIN -- Iron Mountain Police are investigating an incident involving a gun Tuesday morning. Police are releasing very few details.

It occurred on the 900 block of West Hughitt Street at 11:30 Tuesday morning. Iron Mountain Police Chief Peter Flaminio said a weapon may have been involved in the incident. Upon arrival, officers found that the two people involved in the disturbance had already left the scene.

Officers did recover a weapon and are currently investigating the incident. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
