HIAWATHA TOWNSHIP -- Police have now released more information on a breaking and entering investigation that happened Friday in Hiawatha Township.

The incident occurred on Riverview Drive around 3 a.m. A suspect took a large amount of cash from the home and also stole the homeowner's debit card, police said. That card was later used at nearby ATMs at Manistique Federal Credit Union and Wells Fargo shortly after the break in.

A $1,000 reward has been set up for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect. If you have information, you're asked to contact the Michigan State Police in Manistique at (906) 643-7582.
