A warm weekend for the UP, but probably not the driest. A frontal passage Saturday may bring some storms.
Conditions will be warm ahead of a warm front, keeping highs on Saturday well into the 80s. With a south wind, it will be a bit cooler along Lake Michigan. Skies may see a few clear spots, but the day should be mostly cloudy. Rain and possibly a few thunderstorms may pop up later in the evening when the warm front passes the UP.
Saturday night's lows will be mild around 60, but rain and some thundershowers are likely overnight as the warm front passes and when the cold front passes closely behind it. Conditions may be a bit windy. Skies will clear up late overnight into early Sunday behind the cold front.
Father's Day Sunday will be less warm with highs mainly in the 70s, but a few spots may still exceed 80 like down in the southern UP. Some rain may linger east in the morning, but skies will be partly to mostly sunny.
Sunday night will only cool down to around 60 with partly cloudy skies.
Monday will see more highs in the upper 70s and low 80s, but rain is looking to be a major factor. Thunderstorms are looking likely with another frontal passage.
