GLADSTONE -- Golfers teed off to raise money for a good cause Thursday at Terrace Bluff Golf & Country Club in Gladstone.

The Big Hole Golf Scramble raises money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delta County.  They were hoping to meet last year's goal of $9,000.  The money raised will help pay for Big Brothers Big Sisters activities.

"It provides services for our mentoring programs.  We couldn't do it without the support of the community, and this is one way they can come out, have fun and actually donate," said Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delta County Executive Director, Tanya Schuster.

Registration was $83 per person which included lunch and dinner.  A total of 23 teams hit the course.
