Horns o' plenty

ESCANABA -- It's a retired semi-tractor that looks similar to others, except for one loud difference.   There are 16 air chimes on the truck's cab.
    
Cliff Ulferts is a retired truck driver from Atwater, Minnesota.  It took him about six years to add the new additions to what's now his retirement truck.  He collects horns, and the two large silver horns on the top of his truck are from iron ore carriers on the Great Lakes.
    
Ulferts says the sight and sounds draw a lot of attention.

"Probably several hundred people come around, ask questions, listen to the whistles, and it's a nuisance," said Ulferts.

Another set of horns was loaned to him by owners of the USS Badger, a car ferry crossing Lake Michigan.
