Residents of Iron Mountain have been urging the city council to find a solution to a noisy neighborhood bar

IRON MT. -- Iron Mountain's City Council held a special meeting Friday night.

Council members introduced and established a public meeting for the proposed noise ordinance. Residents of Iron Mountain have been urging the city council to find a solution to a noisy neighborhood bar. In an effort to fix the issue the Iron Mountain's City Council is amending the current ordinance. Changes include removing zones, commercial or residential, no more measuring noise decibel levels.

It will be effective from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. with citations issued if violated.
