Shayne Steven Treloar pled guilty last month to one charge of careless use of a firearm, resulting in injury

MARQUETTE -- A Negaunee man got a delay of sentence Friday in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Shayne Steven Treloar pled guilty last month to one charge of careless use of a firearm, resulting in injury. He wounded another man in an accidental shooting at a Powell Township camp in April. The man was discharged from the hospital.

Treloar's sentence is delayed for 12 months, and the charge will be dismissed if his probation is successful.
