MARQUETTE -- The Upper Peninsula is in critical need of blood, according to the U.P. Regional Blood Center.
The Marquette General Health System service says that they are in need of A-negative blood in Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain, Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie. Officials are urging people to give the "gift of life" if they haven't donated in the last eight weeks.
