NEGAUNEE -- Negaunee's Jackson Mine Farmers and Crafters Market has a new home this year.

The market is now located at Miners Park on US-41, across from the Fox Negaunee dealership.  So far 25 vendors have signed up.

If you're interested in becoming a vendor, there is a $35 seasonal fee, and this year vendors may have more than just produce, they can also be selling crafts.

According to officials, the new location will be better for business.

"In the past we had people not knowing that we even existed, and now we have the visibility along with the loyalty of the past vendors to really make it a great market," said Market Coordinator Bill Brazier.

The market is open every Wednesday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and it will close at the end of the season in August.
