WAKEFIELD -- Multiple law enforcement departments were involved in a morning meth lab bust in Wakefield, Michigan on Monday, resulting in the arrest of three people.

A lengthy investigation led to a search warrant on two homes in Wakefield.  Meth lab components were located in the searches.

The Gogebic/Iron Area Narcotics Team, deputies, officers and SWAT team members from Gogebic County, Ironwood Public Safety, Hurley and Iron County Wisconsin, UPSET and the Michigan State Police were all involved in the bust.

The investigation continues, and authorities are working on a lab cleanup.  We will provide more information when it becomes available.
