NEGAUNEE -- Students at Negaunee's Lakeview Elementary got physical Wednesday.  Fourth and fifth graders participated in the school's annual field day.  A variety of activities were set up in the gym where students had a chance to show their skills. The kids practiced dribbling, climbing rope and other physical activities.

"Mainly it is a program to just show the kids how fun exercise can be, and I try to work in different components of health and fitness so they're working the whole entire body," said Lisa Bigalk, Physical Education teacher for Lakeview Elementary.

Organizers hold the event later in the year to give the students something to look forward to. The field day is normally held outside, but due to the weather, the event was held in the gym.
