LUCE COUNTY -- The Duck Lake Fire has consumed 115 structures according to Department of Natural Resources officials, and one property hit included a million dollar logging operation.

Logging equipment that was lost in the blaze was part of an active wood harvesting operation in Luce County.

The equipment included a skidder and a processor, valued at one million dollars.  A tool crib and a camper were also lost, including 100 to 150 cords of red pine, valued at $100 a cord.

The two people involved in the logging operation were not injured in the blaze.  The business and people involved in the logging operation are not being identified.  The equipment and materials involved were only partially insured.
