DELTA COUNTY -- The Yellow Bikes program is being offered again, but this year the free community bike share program is in two towns, not just one. Last year it was only offered in Escanaba. This year it'll be offered in Gladstone as well.
You must be 18 or older and must show your ID at the locations offering the program. You'll find the yellow bikes at the Gladstone campground, the yacht harbor, and Brampton Bike and Ski. In Escanaba they'll be at the municipal marina, Mr. Bike and Ski, and Goodwill.
"It's a program offered to our residents to just increase access to physical activity and to give them a secondary reason for travel and shopping and fun. It's a great way to enjoy the community," said Local Health Educator, Bridgette Naser.
The Yellow Bike program is offered by the public health department of Delta and Menominee counties.
