Explosion and fire in Escanaba

ESCANABA -- Officers from the Escanaba Department of Public Safety arrived to the scene of an explosion to find a garage completely engulfed in fire.

The explosion happened on 6442 L.5 Road. They were able to extinguish the fire within 20 minutes and nobody was hurt, according to officials.

Officers are still investigating the cause of the explosion.
